HOW TO PLAY

Goal

Your heroes and minions push down three lanes on their own. Help them destroy the red stronghold (top right) and keep yours (bottom left) standing. The stronghold can only be damaged once one of its inner lane towers has fallen.

You are the builder

• Tap the ground to walk. Drag to look around, pinch or scroll to zoom. jumps back to you.
• Pick something from the bar and tap where it goes. You can only build on your side of the river.
• You must stand next to a site while it's built or upgraded. You're only as tough as a minion, and enemy heroes will hunt you, so pick your moments.
• Tap one of your buildings to upgrade, repair (costs a little gold) or sell it.
• If you're knocked out you're back at the base after 10 seconds.

Defenses

• Arrow tower: fast single shots. Cannon: slow splash damage. Frost: hits 3 targets and slows them.
• Barricade: enemies have to break through. Your units walk right through it.
• Trench: enemies crossing it are slowed; your units standing in one take 30% less damage.
• Spikes: hurt every enemy that steps on them, until they wear out.

Armory

Spend gold to train melee minions and archers, unlock catapults and champions, make every wave bigger, and bless your heroes. A new wave leaves every 25 seconds. Gold comes in over time and whenever enemies fall.
